"But one of the twenty-four
elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the
heir to David’s throne, has won the victory."
Revelation 5:5

Mysterious
That's what I call You
I'm curious about You
I'm scared and not sure that You are safe
But Your eyes seem to say that You are good
Wise eyes, You see the core of me
Your gentleness melts me
And now I know that words cannot describe
The power that I feel when I'm with You
Chorus
This is not a dream that I'm living
This is just a world of Your own
You took me from all that I knew
Shown me how it feels to hope
With You with me, facing tomorrow together
I can learn to fly
Feels like I'm living in a lion's mouth, but the lion is (an angel)
Bridge
Peace and power, love forever
Who am I to stand before You?
I am speechless
But in my weakness
You are here and all is well
-Words and Lyrics by Rebecca St. James

This
Lion is wild and mysterious! Higher than the earth and more powerful than the
stars is He. My imagination
is overwhelmed! No wonder I was afraid of Him.
How
can I describe Him to you and what good would it do?
For I too once huddled in fright at the thought of Him and in terror of the
ancient stories—until He came to me and spoke my name. What
a rush! His
gentleness and compassion melted me.
He took me from my fear and
despair—and gave me hope.
Now
I understand who I really am—a knight, a king forever. It
is He who put the sword in my hand and trained me for battle.
What a thrill to have Him fighting by my side.
This is not a dream! We can face any challenge together for His
roar encompasses eternity. To death!—for
with Him death is life.
He
is majestic, mighty and tempestuous! And who am I to stand before
Him? But He loves me. He
is peace and love forever! He is with me and all is well.
